  • Indirect fired heaters work much like a furnace with a chimney.
  • In these systems, the flame is contained in a burn chamber, which heats a heat exchanger. The cooler air then passes over and around the heat exchanger, thus heating the air. Usually these heaters are installed outside with heated air ducted to the indoors.
