  • The best way to transport our extension ladders are on ladder racks. Luggage racks are only okay if they are flat and not flexible. A trailer is an option if it is long enough for the ladder. Ladders must be fully secured. If the ladder extends beyond the vehicle/trailer then the customer must have a red flag on the end of it. For a pickup truck without racks then the tailgate must be open. The ladder must be hauled flat, strapped in with a minimum of two 1'' straps, with more than 50% of the ladder in the bed of the truck, with no more than 6' hanging out, secured, with a red flag on the end. The max length that the ladder can be hanging off the truck/trailer is 6'. A cargo work van may also be an option, following the guidelines on a pickup truck w/o ladder racks. Red flags must be provided by the customer.
