  • The best way to transport our step ladders are on ladder racks. Luggage racks are only okay if they are flat and not flexible. A trailer is an option if it is long enough for the ladder. Ladders must be fully secured with at least two 1'' ratchet straps. If the ladder extends at all beyond the vehicle/trailer then the customer must have a red flag on the end of it. For a pickup truck without racks, then the tailgate must be open. The ladder must be hauled flat, strapped in with a minimum of two 1'' straps, with more than 50% of the ladder in the bed of the truck, with no more than 6' hanging out, fully secured, with a red flag on the end. The max length that the ladder can be hanging off the truck/trailer is 6'. A cargo work van may also be an option, following the guidelines on a pickup truck w/o ladder racks. Red flags must be provided by the customer.
